A Return to Camelot?

After eight years of a dour and dismal Bush presidency that lacked in color, lacked in personality, and lacked in warmth Americans are eager to return to a warm, vibrant presidency and White House. Americans are hoping for the Obama’s to return charm to the White House.

As President Bush exists the White House he leaving with the lowest approval ratings of any president in the last sixty years. He is leaving with America stuck in a quagmire of two wars, an energy crisis, and a failing economy.

Enter President Elect Obama.

So far, Obama seems to be meeting the public’s high expectations. Two-thirds of all Americans have a positive view of what he has done since he was elected president, and three-quarters think he will do a good job as president.

On that note, Americans are eager for a return to Camelot, a return to a positive view of America, and, in turn, a positive feeling about themselves. Americans want Jackie Kennedy’s Camelot. There is no way of really knowing if this will happen, but it is good to see Americans looking ahead with hope for the future.

  1. Get real. These people are no classy Kennedys. The media wants to create this Obama camelot. How ridiculous. Special effects all the way. What a shame, America is dead. Michelle is no Jackie O, but keep cramming it down peoples throats msm and maybe the idiots in this country will believe it.
