This blog was created during the 2008 general presidential election in the United States, earlier postings on this blog will bear that out. The original blogger after the election took an extended leave she decided to revive it, only this time the blogger invited other bloggers to contribute to the revived blog. Many of the new contributors are former moderators from the BBC’s Radio 4′s World Have Your Say with one blogger from the 2008 general election.
The purpose, or mission, of this blog is to have as many different world perspectives about events that shape our lives. Entries on the blog can run from the mundane, the personal, scientific, legal, to the political. The bloggers on this blog come from diverse nations some are Americans, Europeans, Mexicans, and Australians, so articles and viewpoints are going to be wide and varied. Together we want to show the world that there is a world of things going on that affect us all no matter where you are.

Julie-
Glad you liked my post about the Memory Hole. Don’t mind if you use my stuff, just note where it came from (Will Rhodes Portmanteau or Spreading the Word) and would you mind putting StW (www.powerfulbeyondmeasure.wordpress.com) on your blogroll? Thanks.

Hey Julie…
What with seeing the photo of you in the British Isles, I never suspected that you were in the Atlanta area. It’s a great day up in Cumming! Thanks for your website.

Although we don’t agree on too much politically, you have quite a nice blog. As I am suffering through another nasty Colorado winter, I envy your resolve to have moved south.
Best wishes,
